yah, a lot has changed since i posted this review.

it's funny, i was just considering doing a long awaited follow up to this article.

if you want a quick preview of what i'd likely be covering this time around, i'd have to say:

1. bloglines (still the fastest and most reliable in my opinion - but still ugly as sin so..)
2. rojo (it was down recently, i think, some time after it was sold to 37signals - but i like the tags feature)
3. feeds2.0 (ajax interface, tagging, recommendation/personalization)
4. google reader (fast, clean, and familiar - with tagging as labels and stars for favorites)
5. netvibes (actually an ajax homepage but good for getting a gallery view of your favorite feeds)

Hey, this article was around 1 year before. Do you have any update for the comparison? Currently, I am using bloglines. But I am looking for some other online tools that navigator by either sources or tags (or even both) ...... Any suggestion?

hi Jorge,

if i'm not mistaken, Rojo will let you sort feeds by: date or relevence.
the link on the left sidebar lets you change between them.
Newsgator will also let you sort by: "newest on top" or "oldest on top". the drop-down arrow is at the top-center of the page just about the first feed text.
i also sometimes like to change between views when i read my feeds and suggest you take a look at your "preferences" page for your feedreader just cause i've sometimes seen this feature tucked away there as well.

hope that helps a bit.

Do you know of any service that, as Google Reader and Kinja groups all the feeds and sorts by date. I like to read them that way and every review critizes them, but it appears to me that all the 3 pane viewers makes you read them in a by site basis, if you get what I mean. Any suggestion?

[...] Robert Scoble wrote about Search Fox last week, and Matt Marshall mentioned them briefly as well. You should also check out TechBlog, which does an excellent comparison of a number of web based readers, including Search Fox. [...]
